Default Gladiator Title

I've always been interested in doing TA, but whenever I decide to play it i just feel like it takes so long to rack up Glad points because if u lose at like 4 wins in a row then you have to start all over. It just seems like it's so hard to build up your gladiator title.

1. Go with good people
2. Be good
3. Grind for hours

= high rank glad title.

People have also been doing this for 3 years.

Try RA first, just go in as a monk and you'll almost always get a team that'll shoot you to 10 wins, even 15 wins sometimes

Hmm, I remember a year and a half to two years ago when I was trying to break into TA it was hard as hell. Dunno if you guys remember anyone from Something Clever [OoOo], but I got rolling with them and the glad points came rolling in. Was nice to constantly got 50+ in a row because we had both the build and the skills to push it through.

I would just do like others have said, start out in RA, get r1 to r2 Gladiator, then try to find some like-minded people to start with TA. Familiarize yourself with the builds, because they really can make or break a game.

I find myself in the same situation atm. Came back from a year break the other day and can't seem to find people to group with for TA. Used to be 3-4 active guilds in TA all the time: [OoOo], [RenO], and 2 more that are on the tip of my tongue (One of em had Chaos in it ) >< (Sorry you guys, I love you, but it has been too long).

Good luck trying to throw yourself into the TA world. It used to be a good ride

[edit] - Oh just remembered another old TA guild - [jZtA] or however it was spelled Jesta was a badass ^_^

It's going to come down to you finding 3 other like minded people who are dedicated enough to learn the TA metagame and start grinding away. I've found that trying to find some random friends with a random build rarely results in a meaningful streak. It's all about the arena regulars and farming builds. Play at the right hours and you'll be mopping up RA leftovers all night long. Play at the wrong hours and you'll just face the 1-2 good teams in TA every few matches and get nowhere fast.

Try joining a ta guild. It's probably the easiest.

So then do what I said. While playing RA, if you run with someone who seems to know what they are doing (i.e. a good build and a good grasp of the pvp atmosphere) add them to friends. I'm sure if you get enough people on your list, it wouldn't be that hard to find a TA group every now and then.

I'd say the breakpoint for RA is rank 6/7, after that you will have to go TA, play with good people and good builds if you want a higher rank. To reach glad 5/6 just go farm 1-2 hours of RA each day.

this is crazy. I can't imagine anyone willing to spend boring hours in RA to get smth like glad5. I can understand desperated swayers who are shy enough to talk on vent or they just suck rly hard so they are willing to spend 8 hours per day just to get their daily fame (10-50) but at least they are organized somehow. RA is not organized pvp. U will meet retards or totally bored ppl there and u will surely not like it.

If u wanna rank up fast, get glad1 in RA then join some A/D idiots and farm during noob hours.

The only problem is u will suck rly hard and u will be bad at pvp. Every decent balanced grp will send u to hell after first tryout.

Don't play for numbers, play for fun.

Get to r2 in RA (its pretty easy) and then find a decent TA guild or just make friends and form a TA team.

They ruined the title by making the Max title unachievable at 40,000 points, they should sack whoever signed off on that one, or at least don't let them work on GW2. A.net made it so you need r3 Glad to get into the Hall of Monuments, so that's the only title now that means something. Interesting to note that HA needs r8 to get a monument, just shows how much easy HA farming is going on.

I think I'm confused.. did you just say titles in the hall of monuments mean something?

Oh.. and lol at the person who got glad7 in RA.. that person really needs to do something useful with his/her life.. I can only see that happening if someone just plays bonder in RA 24/7.. but hey.. who needs fun anyway? :/
